I have linked to this blog too at my LMD post. Wow what a time to have been around. I was lucky enough to have been in London in 77 (I actually had my Dad's old Voigtlander box camera but didn't know how to use it!!!) but I still wish that I had been in NY in 75!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could help me with somethinh. Richard hell wrote for Hit Parader a piece on David Johansen back then and I am desperately trying to find a scan or p/copy of it. I used to have the mag and it really was Hell's manifesto, ie much more about Hell than DJ!
Regards/
I have a few HP's from that era, but I do not believe there's a piece by RH in any of them. If you knew the issue date, or who was on the cover? Wow! Interesting one to track down; I would love to read it myself. Don't you know you're not supposed to throw anything away from that era of music? Have you gone to his website, searched his forum, e-mail him, or searched eBay? Those would be my suggestions Dr. Watson. Let me know what you find. And don't give up! Thank you for the credit and adding my blog to your LMD post. Good on ya! Cheers, Lisa
